UTILITY INFORMATION
To sign up for utility services at your new or current residence, visit Martin City Hall. Martin City Hall is located at 109 University St. Hours: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm
- Bring a valid photo ID, address requested for utility service, and deposit.
- Please make arrangements for any utility services before 4:30pm.
- Service Charge -$15
- Residential Water Deposit- $50
- Residential Gas Deposit- $100
- Commercial Water & Gas Deposits will vary- Please speak with the utility billing department.

All active water accounts will have an automatic active trash service. Trash pickup is included in your monthly utility billing for all City of Martin residents. Trash hauling services are provided by RaeKar. For more information please visit their website at https://www.raekar.com/ If you are unsure of the time of your trash pickup, we recommend placing your trash cans out the night before your scheduled pickup day.

NextBillPay
The City of Martin has partnered with NexBillPay to extend an additional payment option for customers interested in using their check, debit card, or credit card to pay their bills. NexBillPay is a trusted third-party automated payment service that allows you to pay your bill online.
To begin your quick and easy bill payment you must agree to the following:
- If your account is delinquent, disconnected, or in the disconnect process, you MUST contact our office BEFORE you make payment.
- Services will not automatically be restored or disconnection prevented if payment is made without contacting our office FIRST!

IMPORTANT:
The City of Martin is not liable if you receive a disconnect notice and do not call our office before making payment. Your services may be disconnected and will be subject to a reconnection fee.
- If you are disconnected, your account balance plus a reconnection fee will need to be paid in FULL before services are reconnected.
- If you are currently disconnected and make an online payment, your utilities WILL NOT be reconnected unless you contact Martin City Hall to inform us of the payment.
- The City of Martin allows up to 48 hours after we receive payment to reconnect any services.
- Please be sure to schedule e-bill payments within 48 hours of your bill due date to avoid late fees.

To get your water bill emailed to you please fill out the form below. Once filled out your water bill will be sent via email and you will no longer receive a hard copy of your water bill.

♻RAEKAR ADVANCE Sign-Up For RECYCLING
The City of Martin is launching a new residential recycling service starting July 2025. To participate, sign up in advance by March 31 using the below digital form or by visiting Martin City Hall. Recycling will be collected bi-weekly, and the service is optional. Sign up here
At this time, Raekar will offer Single Stream Recycling, meaning all recyclables go into one bin. If you sign up, you will receive an additional can for recycling.
If you choose to sign up, a $16 monthly fee will be added to your City of Martin Utility Bill. Recycling is not required, but those who opt in will pay the additional monthly charge.
ITEMS SHOULD BE PLACED DIRECTLY IN THE CAN, PLEASE DO NOT USE TRASH BAGS.
If you must use a bag, please use the translucent blue RECYCLING bags.
